Our client, a successful, publicly traded organization with a feed-good mission, is seeking a Payroll Director to join their team in this newly created role! This role has fantastic visibility with the sophisticated management team and will own the payroll department.

  • Processes include payroll administration, cash and non-cash compensation processing, W-2 processing, payroll tax filing, audit support ad various reporting

  • Develop and implement payroll policies, processes and system enhancements

  • Analyze complex transactions to assess risks and eliminate future occurrence

  • Manage a team of 3-4 payroll associates

  • Oversee daily, monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll process



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • CPP preferred

  • 4+ years of management experience

  • Experience processing payroll for large (2000+ employee) companies

  • Understanding of tax reporting requirements around payroll required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
